New 50mm 1.8 camera lense

Just wanted to share a few shots with the new 50mm 1.8 camera lense that I picked up this morning. First picture is my daughter blowing a dandelion.

Next we have little miss Maddie. Her eyes are just so beautiful and if you look close enough you can kind of see me in the catchlights. How neat is that?

And here is Ayden playing with Maddie's sunglasses. Neat little kiddo huh.

One very UnHappy Baby

So we put Maddie in the pool yesterday. It was pretty hot around here and the kids haven't been in it in a while due to the only warm warm days was days we weren't home LOL. Well Maddie wasn't sure what to make of it. Now she HATES the bath. Its like the devil to her or something. She used to like it but now not so much anymore.

First we had to check this thing out. Now here we are pretty calm about it. It looks like it might be fun. Not sure how much fun but maybe some fun. We splashed in it a little bit and it seems like its ok for me.

Then we had to just watch everyone else play in it see how they react to it. They seem like they are having fun. But I'm not too sure about this thing yet. Lets see what do we think... what do we think...

Ok time to take the plunge and we HATE IT. It is the devil just like the bathtub is the devil. THIS IS NOT FAIR and what is Daddy doing. He's taking pictures because he knows I have to have pictures of Everything. The good bad and indifferent.


So there ya go. That was our pool experience yesterday. I think when the older kids go in again today that her and I are gonna sit outside on the grass and just play a little bit. Hope everyone has a fantastic day. Hugs to all.

Maddie's First Birthday

Maddie turned ONE this past Saturday. So I did take her out back to take some pictures of her. We weren't so into it like I hoped we would be. So I didn't get a lot of good shots of her, but I did happen to get a few of them. My 6 year old was a good distraction for her to get her to giggle and smile for me.

The most fun she had was when she had my 6 year old's baseball glove and ball. It was so cute. That's all for today folks. I'll be around tomorrow with some pictures with my new 50mm camera lense. I can't wait.

Miss Maddie

So this is my middle girl. Her name is Madalynne Rose. Or just Maddie or Rose (only my mom calls her Rose). She wears lots of dresses and loads of skirts and is a little girly girl sometimes. She's very much so a Mommy's girl too. She won't let anyone except my husbands niece Becca hold her. And she sees her less than she does my grandpa or Paul's parents and she rarely lets them hold her.

So the other day me and the kids went outside next door and let the kids play around. Its always easier for me to watch them all when there are other people around since there is five of them after all. But she didn't want anything to do with it since we tried to put her in the pool that was just NOT happening. So we here have a very unhappy baby.


Once a week we always take the kids to my grandpa's house, we cook him dinner, and just let him play around with the kids. Maddie doesn't like to go out back with them so she stayed inside with me. Sat there at the table like a good little girl.

So there ya have it. Little Miss Maddie. She's a sweetie and a doll face and will be turning one this weekend. So I will have tons of pics to share then too. And I'll have my new lense for her birthday too So happy about that. Hope you all have a fantastic day.

Can't get enough of them feet

Yes I'm a bit weird when it comes to feet now since Ayden. I never really appreciated how perfect a foot is until I had a baby who's feet weren't perfect. Now Elizabeth takes after Arianna's feet. They are so so long and long little toes too. They are perfect. I guess that means she takes after me and Paul too. We both have huge feet too lol.

I rarely ever take my ring off. I've always thought unless you have to take it off for like cleaning or if while I was pregnant I would take it off at night sometimes because my fingers would get a little swollen and it would hurt to wear it for a few hours in the mornings. But I made an exception here. I love the look of these pictures with the mom and dad's rings on the baby's little toes. I couldn't put Paul's on there too because he was sleeping and its kind of like stuck on his finger as well LOL.

Sometimes I wonder if she ever wakes up. Well I know she does because I have to feed her and change her and every so often I get her eyes open for more than like 10 seconds before I feed her and fill her back up. But pictures like these make me glad she sleeps a lot. She's my sweet little angel when she's sleeping. When she's awake its mostly to cry because she's hungry or she's wet or wants attention. Mental note: print this picture and put it on my wall. It actually reminds me of a picture that we had taken of Arianna when she was Lizzy's age. So sweet.

Well that's all for today folks. Next few days I gotta take some pictures of my other kids. They are starting to feel neglected and people are starting to wonder if I have other kids LOL. So next few days I'll share some of them. Have a fantastic day everyone.

Sweet Pea Elizabeth

SO Elizabeth is now almost 2 weeks old. I would like to share a few of her newborn pictures. She is so very precious. She still looks so tiny. She's gained a little bit of weight. She now weighs 6 pounds and 11 ounces. So she's gained a whole 7 ounces in 2 weeks. YAY grow baby grow.


She's still so little that she fits just perfectly in this cute little basket. Love that little basket of hers. I hunted and I hunted until I found one that I really liked. Of course my oldest son had to make sure I got this one and ONLY this one. I'm happy I did.

I really have this thing for feet. I don't know why probably because of Ayden (my youngest boy). He was born with club feet and had casts on his feet when he was Elizabeth's age. I never got to take any pictures of his little toes until he was about 2 months old. So I over compesate with the other kids now LOL. So here are some little piggies.
I hope to have lots more pictures to share so you can see how she grows. Be on the look out I've gotta photograph the older siblings too. They might feel a little left out soon lol. Hope everyone has a fantastic day.
